Initial Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel Management Scholarship & Internship Awarded
On May 8, 2008, the initial recipient of the Hampton Inn Scholarship, Emma Wall, met with Murray Hampton Inn & Suites General Manager Marsha Owens and Murray State University selection committee representatives. The newly established annual scholarship will help support the academic studies of a student who plans on a career in hotel management. In addition, the student selected for the scholarship will be given an opportunity to work as an intern for the Murray Hampton Inn. Ms. Wall, a Business Administration major, will begin the scholarship and internship in Fall 2008. Congratulations to Emma and many thanks to Don Ershig of Ershig Properties and to Marsha Owens!
